GL.iNet Comet Q GL-RMQ1 USB-C KVM Switch - WiFi 6, 2K 60FPS, Remote Access
Control compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops and mini PCs remotely with the GL.iNet Comet Q KVM switch. It combines hardware-level USB-C control, up to 2K QHD at 60FPS, WiFi 6, a 1.8-inch touchscreen and remote access through a browser or GLKVM app without installing software on the controlled device.
Hardware-Level Remote Control
Because Comet Q operates at hardware level, remote access can remain available even when the controlled device is logged out, locked, asleep or disconnected from its own network, provided the required connection and power conditions are met.
Single USB-C Connection
The built-in USB-C cable can carry video, data and power from compatible devices with DisplayPort Alt Mode, reducing the need for separate HDMI adapters or USB hubs. An additional USB-C power input can also be used for extended operation and power delivery.
2K QHD at 60FPS
Comet Q supports video output up to 2K QHD at 60FPS, making remote administration, testing and support smoother and more detailed than basic low-resolution KVM access.

Why This KVM Switch Is Perfect to Buy
The GL.iNet Comet Q provides remote control without relying on software installed on the target device, making it useful for situations where conventional remote desktop tools are unavailable or impractical. Its compact USB-C design, browser access, WiFi 6 and VPN integrations also make it a flexible option for professional and advanced home setups.
Interesting Facts About Hardware KVM Access
Hardware KVM devices capture video and emulate keyboard and mouse input independently of the controlled operating system. This can allow access to login screens and other states that software-based remote desktop tools may not reach. Wake on LAN can wake a compatible device from a supported low-power state, but it cannot power on hardware that is fully shut down or disconnected from power.
